UMass iCons hosted a virtual application support session to help recruit the next amazing cohort of iCons students.
Held on Tuesday, September 29, 2020, the Zoom Application Support session gave prospective iCons students the chance to ask questions about the application process and the opportunity to hear from current iCons students and instructors plus alumni, Kiki Carey '19, about philosophy and meaning behind the application questions. The session was created to help alleviate stress attributed to answering the application questions.
iCons has a goal of recruiting a diverse application pool because solving real-world problems demand voices from different backgrounds, with different perspectives, and varied experiences. Check out the session video (49:54).
