iCons Educational Innovation Internship: Do you love the iCons way of learning?

Would you like to get involved as a paid intern during Summer 2016 to spread this case-study method of teaching and learning science?

Well, we have a great opportunity for you, available only to iCons Students !! You can work with a team of other iCons students, iCons faculty, and faculty from the College of Education to:
•Develop iCons case studies for use at the high school science level
•Get to teach your iCons case studies at a local high school
•Learn how to evaluate student learning from your case studies
•Package your case studies for online dissemination

Here's some useful info:
•Timing: iCons Educational Innovation Internships begin on May 16, 2016 and end on July 29, 2016 (11 weeks).
•Eligibility: Applicants may come from any major or year in the iCons Program -- including and especially students who just completed iCons 1 !!
•Application Process: Applicants should apply online by 11:59pm Feb 23, 2016 using this link, by uploading a Resume and Cover Letter, explaining why this internship is a good fit for your interests, aptitudes, and career goals. Applicants who make the first cut will be contacted by Feb 29, 2019 to schedule follow-up interviews.
•Application Advice: We look for applicants who show deep understanding and great enthusiasm for the iCons case-study approach, and the courage to get up in front of a high school science class to use this approach.
