You are invited to join iCons for an upcoming faculty development workshop:
Equitable Small Group Work
In this workshop, we will investigate and discuss challenges around small group work in science classrooms. We will examine strategies to make small group work more equitable for all students using the framework of Critical Inclusive Pedagogy (CIP). We will thoughtfully consider our language and practices around student groups and teamwork to signal our ally-ship with STEM justice. The context of the workshop will focus on STEM teaching, however, the framework, ideas, and pedagogies we will work with are not STEM specifically. They can be used in any classroom/discipline.
