A Comparison of Gelatin and Traditional Plastics
Executive Summary

To what degree would gelatin plastics be a viable option compared to conventional  plastics in the longevity of the plastic function, biodegradability, cleanliness, and in  economic feasibility?

If gelatin plastics last longer, are more biodegradable, are healthier for humans, and are  inexpensive, then they would be a feasible alternative to conventional plastics.

Plastic waste and microplastics are a major problem that could have detrimental effects  on marine ecosystems, terrestrial animal species, human health, and more.
