This year's workshop will take place on Thursday, November 9th, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. We are pleased to be hosting Dr. Jonathan Thon, a leading innovator and Professor at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School . Dr. Thon will focus on his work with the Harvard spin-off, Platelet Biogenesis, of which he is co-founder and CEO/CSO. Platelet BioGenesis is making human platelets from stem cells. In this interactive workshop, which will model the case study approach used in the iCons program, Thon will facilitate a work session around the problem of global blood shortages.
